Review: Fearless by Tracey Ward

Fearless by Tracey Ward
(Bird of Stone #2)

Genres: New Adult, Paranormal Romance, SciFi

My name is Nick Carver and I have a superpower.

Be jealous. Be very, very jealous. I've only begun to touch the edges of the power lying coiled inside of me. No one knows what I'm capable of. Of how far I can go, least of all me. That should scare me but it doesn't because let's be honest, nothing does.

Not even the fact that I'm dying. Again.

She saved me once before, I have every faith she can save us all now. If there's one thing in this world I wholeheartedly believe in, it's Alex.

You're probably wondering how we got here. How we went from a frozen island halfway between Russia and a polar bear's butt to this deadly tropical paradise in French Polynesia. How we formed our gang of misfit, pissed-off superheroes that got us here. How after everything we've been through I've ended up right back where I started - gasping my last breathes alone in the cold. I'll gladly tell you, but listen close. Pay attention. I don't have a lot of time...

Tracey Ward has done it again, y'all.

The Good
The ending.
THERE'S GOING TO BE A THIRD BOOK. Tracey surprised the crap out of me, and I couldn't be happier! To date, Nick and Alex are my favorite couple of hers. I actually read this book slower than normal so I could savor the time I had left with them. SQUEE.

Alex and Nick.
As I mentioned above, Nick and Alex are my favorite couple that Tracey has written. (So far.) The chemistry between them is amazing. There is no doubt that they were made for each other. The way that they grew in Fearless just solidified my adoration of them. Their banter is priceless.

The humor.
I probably looked crazy while reading Fearless. I would go from laughing out to loud to holding back tears because the end was sneaking up on me. The humor that Tracey injects into this story is brilliant. It's just what this story needs.

The plot.
Wow, y'all. Talk about edge of your seat, nail biting. Tracey Ward really shows us that she's meant to be writing with Fearless. The way she paces the story is flawless. It's a rollercoaster of emotions and feelings. But damn, I'm glad I went along for the ride.

I'll stop my rambling. Just go read Fearless already.

The Bad
Nothing.
Not even kidding.

The In-Between
Nothing.
For real.
