Feature and Follow #5: A Blast from the Past

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!

Recommend some of your favorite back-list books – books that are at least a few years old (I’m thinking 5-10 years old rather than classics)

  1. The Southern Vampire Mysteries by Charlaine Harris (2001-2013)
  2. Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling (1997-2007)
  3. Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert (2006)
  4. The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown (2003)
  5. The Help by Kathryn Stockett (2009)
Honorable mention (Books that I want to read, but haven't yet)
  1. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak (2005)
  2. Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen (2006)
  3. Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides (2002)

Happy Friday, everyone! I have a ton of giveaways, so stop by my Giveaway page while you're here and enter to win some fab stuff!

  4. What is this Southern Vampire Series?! I am going to check that out purely on the basis of the title. Because it sounds awesome. And I can back you up on Water for Elephants and The Book Thief. And obviously Harry Potter should really be on every list haha

    1. It is so good! It's definitely a rollercoaster of a series, but I adore it. They based the True Blood show on HBO on it, but it does the book absolutely no justice.

Once I get finished with this round of ARCs, The Book Thief is going to be one of my first reads!

      Thanks for stopping by, Elizabeth!

  15. I am embarrassed to admit that I have never read The DaVinci Code despite my love of Historical Mysteries. He's one the most popular authors in the genre. I think I resist him cause he's too mainstream. Pathetic, I know!
