Sunday Post: 7.6.14

The Sunday Post meme is hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer
It is a way to recap the past week with all thing bookish.

  • Heather Huffman will be stopping by Pretty Little Indies this week.
  • I'll be reviewing Kiss of Deception and Deeper We Fall.
  • I'll be taking part in a few promotional posts; a cover reveal for Spirits by R.S. McCoy, a blitz for This Summer by Katlyn Duncan, and the blog tour for The Night of Elisa by Isis Sousa.
  • The Just Couldn't Put It Down July Giveaway Hop kicks off on Monday.
  • My topic for Friday Fracas will be Why I Ignored Your Review Request.

This time next week I will be recovering from the Tennessee Valley Author Event. (If you're close to Knoxville, Tennessee, I'm commanding you to come!) I am so excited. I seriously want to just squee. Aside from bookish things, my anniversary and birthday with the guy are coming up quick. I've been trying to plan a weekend away for us. I'm torn between Chattanooga and Asheville. Anyone live near East Tennessee and have a suggest? I want somewhere with a B&B or Inn and amazing food. That's it.

Speaking of my birthday, I'm organizing a huge giveaway/Indie author event for the week of my grand entrance into the land of the living. It'll kick off on my actual birthday, the 16th of August, and I'm rounding up loads of Indie authors that I love for the event. There will be two separate giveaways, one for US and one for international. (Shameless plug: If you're an Indie author and want in on the fun, email me. I love all of you. Seriously. You guys are rad. All the love.)

From the library:

Hi! This is my very first Sunday post! Eep. Exciting. So, I'm preparing for my very first author event! I was supposed to go to UtopYA earlier this month but plans had to be changed last minute. Next month, the Tennessee Author Event will be held in Knoxville, Tennessee on July 12th. I only live like an hour away from Knoxville, so I jumped on going to this event as soon as I heard about it! If you're close, come! The event is free, and there will lots of amazing authors there. If you're planning on going, let me know. We can awkwardly smile and look at each other. (Because I'm socially awkward and my staring game is ridic.)
