Announcing #YAHappenings; YA Event Directory + #Giveaway


Hey, y'all! I have exciting news!

I've started up a YA event directory, YA Happenings.

I got tired of missing YA events near me and never being able to find any to attend. So I decided to make a directory to try to prevent this from happening for myself and other YA fans.

I'm counting on the community to help me keep it up to date. If you know of an event, please tell me! You can tweet me, email me at the YA Happenings email, or submit it with the contact form.
I'd be forever grateful!

YA Happenings offers search by state, city, date, and author.
There's also a Google calendar with all events.

Thanks so much for the support you've already shown.
I'm so excited to connect YA readers to their favorite authors!

    An upcoming event I'll be attending and am super excited for is at Odyssey Books in South Hadley MA on April 25 at 4:00! Nova Ren Suma will be there signing THE WALLS AROUND US, Lance Rubin will be there signing DENTON'S LITTLE DEATH DATE, and Tommy Wallach will be there signing WE ALL LOOKED UP.

    I am sadly not in the know of YA events. I would love to attend one though. I live in a smaller town and we don't get anything like that here that I know of at least. Thank you so much for the giveaway.

      It's not only YA but it's the LA Festival of Books is on April 18 & 19! And I'm really excited because i'm going to finally finally meet Sarah Dessen who is my favorite author ever!

    This is a great idea! I'm pretty far removed from all book events, let alone YA ones, but I know there's one in Kirkland, WA (which was just cancelled....boo). So this will definitely be a good resource- thanks!

    i live in south carolina, and there aren't a lot of YA events near me. The only one that I can think of is Y'allFest in Charleston near the end of the year. Thanks for the giveaway!
