Spring Break. Where would be your favorite destination spot if you could join the Spring Break festivities?
I hate the beach. I know. Practically sacrilegious. Trying to find honeymoon destinations that aren't beach related is just as bad as finding Spring Break ones that aren't.

Pretty much me at the beach. |
My pathetically boring choice would be Washington D.C., which the guy and I are taking a trip to in May!
|
Besides the weird throb in my knee when it rains, pretty great. |
I used to live in Baltimore which is a train ride away from D.C., so my love goes deep. But in all the time I spent in D.C., I never went to the White House! This time, we're going. So you guys enjoy sand in your crotch. I'll be spending Spring Break with the President. ;)
What are your spring break plans? Dream plans count, too!
I've been to D.C. as well! I enjoyed the trip, but we didn't get to see the White House either. And I've never encountered traffic like in D.C., ever. My spring break choice.
ReplyDeleteMy husband doesn't like beaches, though we went to Key West when we first started dating. When we take trips, we go to places like Boston and Chicago. We did go to Vegas a couple years ago, and it was fun but would be even more fun if we were rich. ;) I hope you guys have a lot of fun in D.C. I went there for a school trip in junior high, and my husband and I want to go back. We didn't fully appreciate it when we went back in school. Have fun! :)

D.C. is where my husband and I went on our honeymoon. We had such a great time going through the Smithsonian museums and the National Zoo. We even found the best Chinese takeout we've ever had there. Enjoy!

Lady, I'm so with you.
ReplyDeleteNo beach for this girl. My skin is supposed to look like this--I swear. ;) And I love DC. I went to college right there, so I did all the touristy things--except the White House! It was shortly after 9/11, so security was just way too tight and tickets were way to scarce. Womp, womp. :/
Much love for the Key and Peele gif, btw.
Old...everything follower, pretty much. Just added you on Goodreads, though! My F&FF
Cheers!
I don't like the beach either, but that's mostly because my wheelchair can't go in sand. Plus, whenever I try to lay on the sand, it's hard as a rock!

Haha nice! Not really a beach goer myself. Don't always care for the heat. The sand, no way. Ocean--never ever going in it since I grew up watching Jaws. So yeah, no point in going to the beach for me! Have fun in D.C.!

LOL! I'm the same. Beaches are not my thing (I'm Irish... with Irish skin! Big noooo!)

I've never been to D.C. but I actually haven't really wanted to all that much. Maybe one day I will go though it would be interesting to visit the White House. :) Have fun!

I do have to say that I love the beach, but I am also dying to go to D.C. My husband has been with his family, and my mom has gone on business, but I have yet to make it there myself. I do hope to eventually change that, though! New follower via bloglovin'
