Pretty Little Indies: Heather Beck

Happy Monday, lovelies! Today I'm so excited to share Heather Beck and her YA paranormal romance, Frostbitten, with you guys!

Frostbitten by Heather Beck

Genres: Young Adult, Paranormal Romance

Great beauty hides dark secrets...

Seventeen-year-old Anastasia Lockhart has never led an easy life, but when she starts getting into serious trouble, she’s sent to live with her grandparents in Cedar Falls. The small, picturesque town hasn’t changed since she visited four years ago, with one exception – the presence of a handsome, mysterious boy named Frost. Despite warnings from her grandparents and friends to stay away from Frost, Anastasia can’t deny their attraction, and the more time they spend together, the deeper in love they fall. Unfortunately, Frost has a secret that is beyond Anastasia’s wildest imagination, and she soon finds herself in the midst of a supernatural legend that has haunted Cedar Falls for years.

Can Anastasia and Frost’s love really overcome anything, or are their fates much darker?

Frostbitten has all of the elements that make a great paranormal romance! There's an amazing romance, well thought out characters, enthralling descriptions, and werewolves! The descriptions are what really drew me into this story. They are so rich and welcoming that you cannot help but be absorbed.

Frost definitely has a bad boy edge, but he redeems himself over the course of this book! Anastasia is a bit on the dramatic side, but I enjoyed her nonetheless. Her and Frost make an excellent pairing, though. I really liked being able to follow their relationship as the story went on.

Heather Beck really has proved that she's an excellent writer with Frostbitten. The story line was developed and inviting. It's a beautiful story full of promise for Heather Beck's future writing endeavors! If you're a paranormal romance fan, I think you'll love Frostbitten!
